The fire section of Kamala is dedicated to Shamanism and Indigenous wisdom. This area will draw inspiration from North & South American tribes and host traditional Tipis for ceremonies, a sweatlodge, a sacred fire, and an open air workshop space to host indigenous teachers & elders.
In a world that keeps on moving further and further away from nature, shamanic practices are a powerful anchor back into our wild nature and connection with Mother Earth. The fire section of Kamala aims to honor the indigenous traditions of North & South America and invite tribe elders from around the world to come share their wisdom with us in retreats & workshops. This area will also host monthly full moon sweatlodge gatherings, women’s circles, & men’s circles. The sacred fire is an area that will be open to the public every evening to come drum, dance, and pray together under the stars.
The following are the services to be offered in the Fire Area of Kamala:
- Sweatlodge ceremonies
- Women’s Circles
- Men’s Circles
- Workshops by Indigenous teachers
- Drum & Dance events next to the sacred fire
Here are some examples of teachers we plan to invite:
- Aida & Solar will develop the training program for the head manager and the staff. The head manager will be the one responsible for overseeing all other staff members of this area.
- The head manager will be a person with background in Shamanism. They will both oversee the area and will host some of the activities.
- Part time assistant to help the head manager on busy days
- 1 cleaning staff
